Cynthia L. Nims
President, Family Legacy Partners, Inc.
After 12 years as a small business owner, Cynthia began her career as a financial advisor in 1992 at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. She established Family Legacy Partners, Inc. in 2012 as an independent investment and advisory firm that delivers the high-touch client service and disciplined portfolio management that is the hallmark of her practice.
Cynthia earned her M.A. from Vermont College of Norwich University. She served on the Board of Brattleboro Area Hospice from 2011 to 2017, and is a former long-term Board Member and Chair of the Wells Educational Trust. She lives in Greenfield, MA.
Shelley A. Rogers
Vice President, Operations
Shelley joined Cynthia Nims at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in 2005, having worked in retail banking since 1997. She was instrumental in creating Family Legacy Partners, Inc., which opened in 2012. She holds the Series 7 General Securities Representative and the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law licenses and her Massachusetts Resident Individual Producers License for Lines of Insurance, including Life, Variable Life, Variable Annuity, Accident, and Health or Sickness.
Shelley earned her B.A. in Business Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. Shelley grew up in Franklin County and later relocated to Northampton, MA, in 2004 with her husband and son. She enjoys cooking, fishing with her family, and spending time with friends.
Client Service Associate
Erica joined the Family Legacy Partners team in October 2021, as a Client Service Associate. Prior to starting at Family Legacy Partners, Erica was working in Boston as an Executive Assistant to multiple client advisors at Bessemer Trust from 2019 – 2021, and as a Senior Client Service Associate at TwinFocus from 2013 – 2019 where she worked with ultra-high net worth families in the Boston area. She holds a Series 65 license having passed the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination in 2015.
Erica earned her B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Erica grew up in Southampton, MA and enjoys spending time hiking, going for bike rides, listening to live music, creating art, fishing and reading a good book on the beach.
